Quick couplings are so called because they allow the tube to be coupled to the fitting instantly without the aid of tools. The tube is held by an elastic clamp that holds the tube on the external diameter and releases it by pushing the appropriate extractor.
This type of fitting is used to streamline assembly phases often in small spaces and save time in connecting the various pneumatic components.
